Jombie Vacay Rentals

Before getting too zealous, familiarize yourself with some crucial information by going through this page. I understand the process can be overwhelming but our guide helps you avoid common pitfalls and ensures a smoother experience. Take the time to go through it diligently as it can save you many frustrations.

To begin, If you want to PARTY#%$!, I would appreciate if you search elsewhere. This is NOT the Carnival Cruise Line. These resorts are family oriented and while everyone wants you to have good time, not at their expense.

Refunds

I try to make reservations for you as refundable as possible. However there are several things that would prevent all or a portion nonrefundable. The following may not be an exhaustive list.

  1. Reservations that I make generally cannot be cancelled within 30 days of the reservation. If I can find another buyer, I will refund your money, See #2, If I can’t find another buyer, I will try to get the taxes refunded.
  2. If I change the name on a reservation, I have to pay $100, and I can’t get the money back. So, I try not to do that too soon. However, if I have two reservations with dates that overlap with the one you want to book, I have to collect the $100 and change the name with 48 hours. Otherwise, they will cancel the reservation. Once I’ve changed the name on a reservation, that $100 is nonrefundable.
  3. I can add a $149 charge to ensure your reservation is refundable, with exception of guest fees that were charged. See #2.

Reservations

While I will try to have reservations available that I think someone will want, I can help you best if you look at the locations that you might want to visit. At that point, I can start helping you determine if we want to go further in getting you a condo. I’ve not visited all the locations, but I can tell you things like expected costs, availability, and the # of units of each type.

Do you have an event you want to attend? Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs, CA; Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, FL; or 4th of July in Seaside, OR.  I can make that happen with the proper planning.

Consider having a family reunion. Depending on the size of your family and the size of the resort, this is often doable, but be aware of the pitfalls for refunds discussed below. I have had family reunions in Branson, MO, Estes Park, CO, Seaside OR, and St. George, UT. of 5 to 7 condos. Each of those have 3 bdrm condos that sleep 8.

You can make reservations as early as 13 months in advance, especially crucial for securing bookings at highly sought-after resorts. Failing to do so may result in difficulties obtaining reservations. Keep in mind that a minimum 7-day stay is required for reservations made 10 to 13 months ahead.

Amenities

Amenities vary from resort to resort, condo type to condo type.

Most Condos have full kitchens with range/oven, dishwasher, microwave. with a minimal complement of cooking utensils and place settings based on max occupancy.

Most Resorts have mobility accessible condos but are limited and maybe difficult to get.

Most Resorts if not all have wash/dryer facilities, while I know some are community facilities, all the resorts I’ve stayed at have the w/d in the condo.

Different resorts offer varying types of condos. Some have only two-bedroom condos, while others offer condos with one to four bedrooms and varying levels of quality.  If you have specific requirements, please let me know. The standard occupancy for each condo is a studio that sleeps two people, a one-bedroom condo that sleeps four, a two-bedroom condo that sleeps six, and a three-bedroom condo that sleeps eight, but this is not always the case.

Most resorts have BBQ areas. Depending of Fire code and Safety concerns, they may be private or community areas.

I could go on and on, but you should look at the resorts individually, especially if you are a Golfer.

Vacation on the Cheap

These seasons are different for each resort. Some are Red all the time. Vegas. Some are only red during ski season and others only during the summer. Red is the most expensive season and Blue the least. Additionally Weekends (Fri/Sat) are the most expensive. Mon-Thurs are the cheapest. Add a few extra weekdays to your vacation for less.

Resort WiFi

I can provide the information to access the WiFi for free. The limitation is 8 devices spread across all my reservations. When I provide you access, I will also let you know if your reservation dates overlap another reservation. I will expect you to share among other reservations. In the past, the company responsible for managing the WiFi, allowed additional devices, but I can’t guarantee that would happen.

Expectations on Arrival

When you check into the resort, you need a credit card. They will put a hold of $250 on your credit card for damages that might occur due to negligence. They will release the hold after you leave.

Some resorts have parking and others do not.  Some have RV parking and other only cars and SUVs. Some have height limits that won’t support a car topper. Be sure you know before you book the resort.

Some resorts will offer up to $150 to attend a sales pitch. I’m not promoting that you buy into WorldMark. The sales pitch can be overwhelming and can destroy your entire vacation. Las Vegas is the worst. But if you’re up for it and would like some amazon bucks to recoup some of your expenses, go for it.

For some areas like Orlando, Florida, I don’t think it’s best to rent from me. You can find better prices and quality elsewhere. The market there is too full. I want you to be happy, so I’ll suggest you look somewhere else.

Payment

I don’t do eCommerce on this website. I expect to be paid via the Cash App. If you are insecure with that, I can put the availability on AirBNB or VRBO, however that will increase your fees. Also, I can’t control who the reservation is sold to on these platforms. Once I put it on, I can’t be responsible if you lose your condo.

Available Resorts

Here is the link to view all the available resorts.  Please note this website includes both Worldmark and Wyndham Resorts, I am a Worldmark owner. While I have access to many of the Wyndham resorts, they are generally more expensive and have additional fees. I set my grandson up for a Wyndham resort in Kauai, Hawaii. Wyndham charges extra to use A/C (in Hawaii only?) but by law they can’t charge you until the end of your stay. Anyway, look at any of the resorts, and I can give you additional information if you are interested.  Worldmark Resort listings
